Dan & Annie, Emma, Lucy, and Benjamin live in Pretoria, South Africa. They have served with Novo since 2009.

South Africa has tremendous potential to model the diversity of the Kingdom of God and the Church has a key role in healing the wounds of the past and bringing people together across racial and socioeconomic lines. Dan and Annie work with their teammates in Pretoria and the surrounding areas to encourage reconciliation and growth. They work with local churches, ministries, and their teammates to see the ministry of reconciliation work in South Africa.

Annie is a pastoral counselor and is studying spiritual direction to enhance her ministry to the marginalized Afrikaans community.

Dan mentors young men and teaches creative writing at the Arts Center of a large Pretoria church.
